Important Notice to All Who File Complaints in the Form of Alleged Violation Reports (AVR) in Mississippi

Filing an AVR without proper documentation weakens your complaint to the point that often the committee has no option but to state “No violation due to insufficient documentation.” While they may believe a violation occurred, it would be reckless to cite the alleged violator without some evidence of the violation.

Along the same lines, every alleged violator can respond to the alleged violation with his/her version of what happened. Sharing photos or other such evidence to prove your case has been successful in the past. Having said that, less than 20% of alleged violators respond to the incident.

The Enforcement Board encourages all stakeholders who file AVRs or who respond to a complaint to provide documentation, which should be date and time-stamped photos, videos, or other such documentation as will help clarify your position to the Executive Committee.

If you have questions regarding the enforcement process or concerns about an AVR you’ve submitted to the Board, contact the Executive Secretary at enforcement@msdamageprevention.com.
