Attend a Damage Prevention Summit and learn more than damage prevention and enforcement. Learn about the people that make it all happen. Learn that everybody doesn’t think like you do and that is ok! Make plans to attend the next one in your area. You’ll be treated like somebody and for one important reason. You are!

Many professions require certification to be qualified to do the task. Once you are certified you need to meet some ongoing education requirements to stay current. Right now, there is no standard for a Damage Prevention Professional even though what they do may save lives and prevent major damages to cable & pipeline infrastructure. Alberta is changing all that by developing a certification program through Utility Safety Partners. This Town Hall will be focused on how this program can improve damage prevention, what should be included in the training, and how it can be rolled out globally. You voice needs to be heard.
