PHMSA Makes Operator Guides Available

Small Natural Gas Operator Guides covering Operations and Operator Qualification that were revised during the DOT contract with the American Public Gas Association, Security and Integration Foundation (APGA SIF) are now available and posted at phmsa.dot.gov/pipeline/tq/manuals.

Other tools and manuals that were developed during the DOT contract with APGA SIF are also available at little or no costs to operators at apgasif.org/sif-tools/.

There will be two additional Guides supporting Propane Operators (Operations & Operator Qualification) posted soon.
These Guides are still being worked on, incorporating comments recently received from the National Association of Pipeline Safety (NAPSR). PHMSA will work to incorporate all comments received from NAPSR on the Natural Gas and Propane Guides (and any additional comments received in the future) in forthcoming revisions.
