WITH GREAT sadness, Arkups/Arkansas811 announces the passing of CEO Darrell Boggs. Darrell led Arkups and Arkansas811 with integrity, honesty and compassion. He will be greatly missed.
Darrell was a military veteran who served 28 years in the Arkansas Army National Guard/Reserves. He retired as an engineer officer at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Darrell served two combat tours: Desert Storm (1991) in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom (2011) in Afghanistan. Notable military awards: Bronze Star Medal, Combat Action Badge, Arkansas Distinguished Service Medal, two-time awardee of the Army Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. He was a true Veteran who loved the country he served with honor.
